St. Edward’s Episcopal Church

Kansas City Stained Glass was honored to collaborate with St. Edward’s Episcopal Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on a deeply meaningful stained glass installation created in honor of their former pastor. The church initially envisioned a Tree of Life to represent growth, continuity, and spiritual rootedness, but during the design process expressed a desire to incorporate Jesus in the Sea of Galilee—a scene filled with themes of guidance, strength, and divine presence. Our designer, Maria, merged these two narratives into one harmonious composition, crafting a window that spans more than twenty individual panels and reads as a single, flowing work of sacred art. To stay within the church’s budget while maintaining artistic integrity, our team selected richly textured background glass to bring depth, color, and movement to the design, reserving detailed hand-painting for the most symbolic elements. The finished installation is now a luminous focal point in the sanctuary, combining color, theology, and artistry to reflect the congregation’s story of hope, faith, and unity.

Kansas City Stained Glass is proud to be a part of the largest stained glass studio in the country. In our more than 20 years in business, bathroom stained glass windows have always been our most popular option for Kansas City homeowners.

Bathroom windows offer natural light to an often small space, but tend to lack functionality in terms of privacy. Many homeowners sacrifice the sunlight in order to put up blinds or curtains to create privacy for their bathroom. But this isn’t necessary. Stained and leaded glass can give your bathroom windows a special type of privacy that doesn’t block out the sun.

Let Kansas City Stained Glass show you how our windows can offer the best of both worlds for your bathroom!
