Kansas City Stained Glass was privileged to help transform the Methodist Hospital Chapel in Dallas into a calming, restorative sanctuary for patients, families, and staff. The existing prayer room, though functional, lacked color and warmth, prompting the hospital to seek a stained glass installation that would invite peace and comfort. Working within a modest budget, our team designed a simple yet impactful composition using hand-selected colored leaded glass that filters natural light into soft, soothing tones without relying on painted detail. This intentional simplicity enhances clarity, warmth, and spiritual calm. The transformation was remarkable—the once plain room now feels intimate, uplifting, and quietly sacred, offering a gentle refuge for those seeking solace during difficult moments.
